THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major relief for Technopark employees and students of the Kerala University Kariavattom campus, the Southern Railway authorities have decided to introduce stoppage for two trains at Kazhakkootam station. The Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Parasuram Express (Train No: 6349) and Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram Express (Train No.2697) will have stops at the Kazhakkootam station. The decision has been taken by Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee based on the request from Shashi Tharoor MP.
